Although CAE companies have car model in their hands, it must be restricted to be used for the own purpose. It can not be used for any other purpose.
It would be good, if we have any model which can be used without this limitation.
Accidentally, I heard about the name "NCAC".
After searching on the web, it is realized that it is "National Crash Analysis Center".
http://www.lsoptsupport.com/examples/optimization/full-vehicle-mdo
If you go to the link, you can see the message that " The underlying FE-model for this study is a free Ford Taurus LS-DYNA model from the "National Crash Analysis Center" website http://www.ncac.gwu.edu/. "
It must be the thing what I am looking for.
Let me go to the website http://www.ncac.gwu.edu/
ohh. why I can not access this website !!!!!
Is the website http://www.ncac.gwu.edu/vml/models.html not valid anymore?
anybody help me?
I found another website on which downloading is available, but it is for semi trailer. It is at http://thyme.ornl.gov/fhwa/tractortrailer/download/download.cgi
Here is another source.
https://www.nhtsa.gov/crash-simulation-vehicle-models#ls-dyna-fe
Finally I found the site http://www.dynasupport.com/links
At there it is written like " http://www.dynasupport.com/link_icon.gifPublic LS-DYNA Model Archive
On this site, finite element models of full vehicles can be found and downloaded free of charge. The site is operated by the Center for Collision Safety and Analysis (CCSA), formerly known as National Crash Analysis Center (NCAC)."
Now NCAC is CCSA.
Here is model https://www.ccsa.gmu.edu/models/2012-toyota-camry/
