One of my friends who works for hardware company as a controller engineer tell me that normally the sampling size is x100 bigger than control step.
Based on this information, I like to decide my input value. I am using Matlab, and RecurDyn.
There is Sampling Time (Control Time Step) in RecurDyn. Some of my customer says that their sampling period is fixed value for their machines. For example it is 1e-4
If it is, I would decide to use same value at Sampling Time (Control Time Step).
Then, my opportunity to have x100 bigger sampling is adjusting maximum time step.
Let me decide to set Maximum Time Step as x100 smaller than Sampling Time. That is 1e-6
